You could try the 1901 census online. Anything earlier than 1901 I think you have to go one of the libraries that stores all the old records (again I'm not sure where they are).

Here is a link that could help:

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/census/

The 1901 census search is free and if you want to go any earlier I think you will have to pay a small fee.

I hope this gives you a good starting point :)

Actually, just checking, if you click on th first link:

http://www.1901censusonline.com/search.asp?wci=person_search

You can search earlier dates for free too :)

Good luck!

There are a number of ways you can get the information you need. www.ancestry.co.uk is probably the best but you have to subscribe or pay as you go. This will give you census informatio for 1841 to 1901 (in ten year intervals). I subscribe and if you give me a while I will check on the people you mention and see what I come up with. The other useful site is Free BDM which gives you births deaths and marriages for the UK from 1837 to present - but not all data is on line yet.

I'll be in touch
